Greetings to wonderful women!

These are, among others: Olga Tokarczuk, Nobel Prize winner, Agnieszka Holland, president of the European Film Academy and Janina Ochojska, an authority in the field of humanitarian aid. All of them became part of the Polish-Ukrainian Sisterhood , just like Ewa Ewart - journalist, documentary film director and producer, Henryka Bochniarz - economist, chairwoman of the Main Council of the Polish Lewiatan Confederation, Magdalena Adamowicz - lawyer, member of the European Parliament, and Myroslava Keryk – historian, president of the "Our Choice" Foundation.

We also remember about the nominees and winners of the Sestry portal award, who set an example of true sisterly solidarity and support, and uphold values such as democracy and freedom to express one's beliefs. These are: Marta Majewska - mayor of Hrubieszów, who, after Russia's attack on Ukraine in February 2022, on her own initiative, with the help of hundreds of volunteers, created a reception point for refugees in Hrubieszów, located near the Polish-Ukrainian border, as well as Halina Andruszków and Wiktoria Batryn from the Uniters Foundation , which helps children and families of Ukrainian soldiers and volunteers who died, were wounded or are still fighting to defend their homeland.

We also greet Larysa Vychivska - vice-president of the Ukrainian Education Center foundation, who runs the “Materynka” School Educational Center named after Dmytro Pavlychko in Warsaw, thanks to which Ukrainian children and youth staying in Poland can study in accordance with the education system of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.
Among our colleagues to whom we express our gratitude today there is also Magdalena Cielecka - extremely sensitive and engaged in important social issues (her voice can be heard in our spot in the social campaign "Yes to sanitary pads"), as well as Ewa Rumińska-Zimny and Magdalena Środa from the Congress of Women Association, involved in our joint project "RównoWaga, Female - Friendly Company of the Year".

We would also like to thank those who are with us every day, such as Mrs. Zofia Jankowska, who is the heart of the Domino Effect Studio. She makes sure that it is a place where everyone feels good and where, with a cup of coffee in their hand, they can talk to her about plants, recipes, but sometimes also about what is difficult. She has a magical hand for plants and a heart for women and children from Poland and Ukraine who come to classes in our Studio.

Julia Kvasnica , a psychologist and sexologist in our Studio, who supports women from Ukraine who have experienced war trauma and face the challenges of life outside their country, with fear for their loved ones and longing, is also an invaluable support for us and our students in Ogrodowa Studio. She is a wise, empathetic, very warm and sensitive woman who gives so much of herself to those in need. Evgenia Kirschuk also gives us great support (she conducts painting workshops) and Maryna Mazurak - Ukrainian journalist who coordinates the Ukrainian Women's Club.

We hug you all today and think of you warmly!
